Brought equipment in for service. Alan was friendly, courteous, professional and very helpful. He listened to my description of the problem and said he would do his best to address it. He over-delivered by not only fixing the problem but within a very quick time frame. The service was outstanding and based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this location for repair work.

I was having problems threading my Stihl strimmer so I took it to the dealership in Hyde Park and asked a sales agent for help. He looked at my strimmer, identified the problem part and asked the parts department for a replacement. A few minutes later the problem was solved. I also took my lawn mower in for a service a few weeks ago. The service (sharpening, plug, oil, etc.) was completed in about a week and I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost for the service. I recommend Hyde Park Equipment for both sales and service and I will continue to use them.

The guys in parts will get you what you need, get it "yesterday", and let you know with the kind of service oriented attitude you'd expect from a maitre'd. When it hits the fan, the service boys seem to have a hidden store of miracles, perform them, and make it look easy. And if new equipment is the order of the day, you know you can count on the sales team to put your unique needs ahead of just making a sale.

They have good technicians, they do good work and on time, and also are very good at helping on loading machines onto vehicles, but I am not happy with the service tactics. They would go ahead and fix the machine without discussing the cost with the owner first. Especially when the repairs are equal or more than what the machine is worth. By the way all the TORO engines are Chinese made units by Loncin in China, and their quality is quite poor compared to Honda which is still made in USA. The sales people do not know this....right. Lesson learned, never buy a Toro anything again!
